Jill Mizell

Director, Survey Research

Jill Mizell is the Director of Survey Research at JUST Capital. She is responsible for designing and implementing opinion research studies to understand and quantify Americans’ priorities for the private sector’s role in fostering a more equitable economy. Previously, Jill worked as a Senior Analyst for Abt Associates, an international social policy research firm, where she oversaw data production for complex, large-scale, mixed-mode, longitudinal, randomized controlled survey research studies evaluating the impact of federal programs that provide training and educational support for low-income individuals to pursue career pathways in healthcare. In prior roles, Jill worked at the Center for Reproductive Rights and The Opportunity Agenda, where she played a leading role in planning and implementing qualitative and quantitative opinion and messaging research projects for movement-building, narrative development, and strategic communications.

Jill has presented at the annual conferences of the American Association for Public Opinion Research (AAPOR), the National Community Reinvestment Coalition (NCRC), and the Abortion Care Network (ACN). Jill taught Quantitative Research Methods as an Adjunct Instructor at Hunter College, City University of New York, in the Graduate Social Research Program. She holds an M.S. in Statistics from Baruch College CUNY, an M.S. in Applied Social Research from Hunter College CUNY, and a B.S. in Finance from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business.
