Michelle Mullineaux is the Chief Marketing & Communications Officer at JUST Capital. She oversees the organization’s overall communications strategy and brand; PR and media relations; content strategy and thought leadership; websites, email, social and paid media; as well as partnership development, program management, and events. Michelle has worked at the intersection of CSR, sustainability, and social impact for 10+ years and specializes in helping organizations build awareness and influence through strategic communications, fuel growth through planning and partnerships, and execute complex projects by leading cohesive teams built on shared values. Prior to JUST Capital she was Vice President of Marketing at Blue State Digital and Vice President of Marketing and Business Development at ESI Design. Michelle was also one of the co-founders of the nonprofit, desigNYC, and served on its board for five years. She has led programs on environmental advocacy, sustainability, and urban resilience at SXSW and the Social Innovation Summit, judged Big Ideas for the Municipal Art Society’s “Pitching the City” competition, and served on the first advisory board for NYCxDESIGN. Michelle earned an M.B.A. in Sustainable Management from the Presidio Graduate School in San Francisco and a B.S. and B.A. from Boston University.
