Sarah Vieux is the Director of Communities & Human Rights at JUST Capital. She leads the research on how companies treat and create opportunities for communities in the U.S. and abroad. Sarah also works on research around diversity & inclusion and customer privacy. Previously, Sarah was an associate for White & Case’s arbitration department, where she worked on multi-million dollar international disputes. She also worked for other leading international law firms in Paris. A committed advocate to development and human rights, she recently volunteered with a civil rights firm in New York, trained Haitian judges on arbitration in Port-au-Prince, and launched the opening of a medical facility in Burkina Faso.
Sarah is a New York licensed attorney since 2016. She received her LL.M. from Georgetown University Law Center, her LL.B., Master 1 & Master 2 from Université Paris Ouest Nanterre la Défense (France), and her B.A. from the University of Sheffield (United Kingdom). She is a native French and English speaker, and speaks Haitian Creole and Spanish fluently.
