Jacob is an Associate on the Data and Research team at JUST Capital, where he helps power the organization’s rankings and products by collecting, cleaning, and analyzing data from hundreds of large public companies. He focuses on streamlining data processes, ensuring quality and consistency, and exploring new ways to extract insights that make the business case for more just corporate behavior. Jacob also supports the development of JUST’s research products and contributes to expanding the organization’s data capabilities through automation and innovative data sourcing.
He is currently pursuing an M.S. in Sustainability Management at Columbia University, where he is sharpening his expertise in corporate sustainability, data-driven strategy, and impact measurement.
Before joining JUST Capital, Jacob graduated magna cum laude from Tulane University with a B.A. in International Relations and French. His academic background gave him a global perspective on issues of governance, equity, and sustainability, which he now applies to the world of corporate responsibility.
>Outside of work, Jacob can usually be found running in Prospect Park, planning his next trip, or getting lost in a good book. He lives in Brooklyn with friends and two cats, who remain unimpressed by his data skills but thoroughly supportive of his lap as prime real estate.
