Ashley Marchand Orme is the Director, Equity Initiatives, on the Corporate Impact Team at JUST Capital. She is responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and strategy of the organization’s equity programs. Through JUST Capital’s participation in the Corporate Racial Equity Alliance, Ashley is part of a team of specialists working to develop voluntary corporate performance standards on racial equity. Prior to joining JUST Capital, she served most recently as Associate Director, Governance Content, at the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD), leading education and research on board oversight of diversity, equity, and inclusion, among other topics. While at NACD, she also launched the Future Fluency podcast, hosting conversations with business leaders about emerging topics in DE&I, the future of work, and organizational culture.
Ashley earned her master’s degree in integrated marketing communications from Georgetown University, with a certificate in cause consulting. Her thought leadership has been featured by several news outlets, including Fortune, MarketWatch, and CNBC.
